This program provides qualified appointments with potential clients who are looking for life insurance as well as living benefits plans. Our leads are generated from our web properties where customers voluntarily and willingly submit their personal information – there is absolutely no cold calling. The client is contacted immediately by trained call centre representative who verifies and gathers additional information in order to book a quality appointment. Our call centre is not outsourced, but located in-house for superior control and training purposes.

The appointment offer is emailed to an appropriate advisor based on several factors such as proximity.  An advisor can accept an appointment by clicking "Accept" in the email message.  When the advisor accepts the appointment all the details of the client are sent in a separate email.

  • $300 & $400 in Toronto
  • $270 &$465 in Vancouver
  • $250 & $365 in Calgary

An average advisor can expect to receive 7-10 appointments per month. Which based on average premium per sale and sale ratio per appointment can translate to up to $30,000 in additional revenue per year.

Standard appointments are offered 24- 48 hours from the time the client is contacted. The appointment details are provided to an advisor by email. There is a 30-minute window to accept/decline the appointment.

Instant Appointments are offered when a client would like to see an advisor as soon as possible, often within an hour. Instant appointments are provided through an iAgent app on your mobile or tablet devices.

Reporting is an easy and hassle free process. To follow up on your appointments an email will be sent out every Sunday.

This email will contain a link to a form to update appointment status. A reminder email will be sent in 48 hours to complete the form. If after 72 hours the form is not completed, the link expires. The advisor is put on "Hold" status and is not eligible to receive appointments.

This reporting is captured on advisor's scorecard. For more information on how we measure success please .

Scorecard: The scorecard is populated with appointment information provided by the advisor through weekly reporting. Your Broker Support Manager (BSM) will provide a monthly scorecard which will give a snapshot of an advisor success and opportunity for improvement.

EAP: EAP is Expected Annual Premium per Appointment.

It is calculated using the rolling 12 month data from your reporting and your submitted sales as follows: (Written premium) – (Lapsed, not takens or declines) ÷ (number of appointments)

Why is it important? We use this value to evaluate the performance of each of our advisors. Higher EAP translates to eligibility to receive more appointments. However, to ensure fair comparison advisors are evaluated against peers in their territory. Only ivari and Specialty Life business will be used to calculate EAP.
